Joe Joe

Joe Joe is a male-dog according to our wishes. He is very confident, calm, absolutely soundless at work or in the training. He points rudimentarily, this is an ability I appreciate very much as a hunter !!!; His "Will to please" is of a very high quality he is having fun with everything he does. Joe loves “his” people. He likes to snuggle and loves to play with his pride. We appreciate his ability to be a baby-sitter for our puppies with all his patience.
When seeking for wild animals he never lost any!

Summary: For us, he is just the greatest :-)

How we get Joe Joe:

We have been on a quest for Joe Joe for almost 2 years, no kidding!!! We have been supported by Nat Horn, Betsy Humer Horn, Madelyn Conner, Virginia Bartnicki and some more.

We were searching for a male-dog puppy of a special line-matching -the one JoeJoe has :-) - and it was Madelyn Conner who found him for us finally. So we met the breeder of Joe Joe: Virginia Bartnicki and Joe´s mother (Hardwood Autumn Hickory) and the owner (Brenda and Jim Stewart) of Joe Joes father (Chestnut Hills Catcutta).

At the age of only 8 weeks we brought him in a box on our knees with a Lufthansa airplane to Germany.

Before that we spent some days with her breeder Virginia Batnicki; we lived in her house and visited the area from Michigan over Ohio and Pennsylvania to Maryland; the Chesapeake Bay and surely we met some relatives of Joe Joe and Nayfa.

Acknowledgment:

At this point we would like to thank Virginia Bartnicki of Michigan, who gave us home and presented us the chessy, his breeding in the states and the breeders in a unique way; and to Brenda and James Stewart, two veterinarians of Maryland, the owner of Ch Chestnut Hills Calcutta. We were able to meet Joe Joes father and two half-brothers of Joe Joe there. Brenda and James took a lot of care to show us their dogs and their abilities at the temperature of nearly 30 degrees Celsius.

Last but not least we would like to send a special thank you to Madelyn Conner. The owner of the Ch Fitzhugh´s Bag The Limit (father of our Nayfa), who has already died. He hasn’t been beating in the shows by any other chessy of the ACC until now. Three-time champion (BIS) in the USA ACC Special, and Multi-winner of any other shows, owner of the CD and WDX examination a simply a wonderful dog.
